The Royal Canadian Mint recently issued a 2008 Maple Leaf $20 pure silver coin, the "Crystal Raindrop", with colored reverse and a large embedded crystal. It's the first time the RCM combines color and crystal applications on a coin.
Canada started the Maple Leaf series of silver bullion coins in 1988. Since 2001, it also issues various proof, holographic, and colored silver Maple Leaf coins.

This is the first Royal Canadian Mint issue I've seen that contains a crystal. I know it's the first to have a crystal and color but didn't even know they had done a crystal coin like this before without color. You have a great selection of coins on display here and it helps when trying to decide which coins to offer on my own world coins website, to have a place like this to visit and read about beautiful new releases. Thanks!
